Update to how we manage certificates

Dear customer,

We are changing the way we manage the certificates for the API traffic from October 1st 2026.

Namely, Messente will be switching to automatic certificate management via LetsEncrypt.
This won’t have an impact for most of our customers but may cause issues for old operating systems, Java runtimes, embedded devices, and outdated applications that can have stale CA trust stores which do not trust SSL certificates issue by LetsEncrypt.

To work around the issue, please make sure you application uses the latest CA certificates.

We’ve added a test endpoint that is a drop-in replacement for Omnichannel API that allows testing if your application is compatible with the new certificate:
https://test-cert.api.messente.com/v1/omnimessage
In order to test this for Omnichannel, you can just use this endpoint as a replacement forhttps://api.messente.com/v1/omnimessage
